Chris Zoidis
President & CEO
Chris Zoidis is President & CEO of Atain Insurance Companies and an Executive Vice President of H.W. Kaufman Group. As President & CEO of Atain Insurance Companies, Chris oversees Atain’s growth initiatives, underwriting strategy, and operations. Chris has over 30 years of insurance experience, specializing in underwriting management and insurance operations. Chris holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation.
Jodie Kaufman Davis
Chief Strategy Officer
Jodie Kaufman Davis is Atain’s Chief Strategy Officer. A proven and results-oriented leader, Jodie focuses on identifying new opportunities, talent, products and partnerships that amplify and extend Atain’s market position.
Previously a practicing attorney, Jodie advised Canadian and U.S. companies on M&A, capital market financing and regulatory issues. She graduated cum laude from the Michigan State University College of Law and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
Michael Martin, CPA, CGMA
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Michael Martin is Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Atain. He is responsible for the companies’ finance and accounting operations, including strategic planning, treasury, budgeting, regulatory and compliance. Mike joined Atain in 2005 as Treasurer, Insurance Entities, and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2006. In 2014, he was promoted to Senior Vice President.
Linc Trimble
Chief Underwriting Officer
Linc Trimble is Atain’s Chief Underwriting Officer. He is responsible for executing the company's underwriting strategy, overseeing the management of the underwriting portfolio and guiding the underwriting team. Linc has over 35 years of insurance industry experience, the majority of which in underwriting and entity leadership roles, recently serving as CEO of StarStone US. Linc has extensive experience building insurance portfolios, including the launch of Chubb’s Bermuda-based P&C operations, the co-founding of St. Paul’s excess liability division, and the creation of a specialty MGA.
Emmanuel Manuelidis
Corporate Senior Vice President
Emmanuel (Manny) Manuelidis serves as Corporate Senior Vice President for Atain. He has been with H.W. Kaufman Group and Atain since 2007. Manny oversees the Atain claims department, and the handling of general liability, professional, and first-party property matters by the Atain claims team.
Barbara Habel
Vice President, Head of Excess Casualty
Barb Habel is Vice President at Atain, where she is responsible for developing and refining Atain’s Excess Casualty underwriting strategy, along with helping develop new product offerings that will serve binding and brokerage programs. She brings over 15 years of industry experience and has held various underwriting and leadership roles, most notably at HDI Global Specialty, Core Specialty and Starstone, and RT Specialty.
Outside of the office, she is a volunteer for the WSIA Education Committee where she teaches three courses and helped develop two new course offerings for students.
Heather Schaaf
Associate Vice President, Professional Lines
Heather Schaaf is Associate Vice President for Professional Liability (PL) coverages for Atain. Heather has more than 15 years’ experience writing and developing in the Professional Lines arena. She directs the PL team and is responsible for underwriting, training, marketing and expanding PL product capabilities.
